organizations and special events.

Student Senate offers interior advertising on KU buses and advertising in the University Daily Kansan. A form to request advertising is available from Student Senate office, 400 Kansas Union. Note: one side of the form is for bus ads, the other is for UDK ads.
Registered student groups are allotted a maximum of ten free ads per bus, and the ads must be approved by the Union Communications Committee. Ad specs are detailed on the request form. Generally, the groups may have ads one time per semester.
The groups may also apply for UDK ads, and ad requests may be placed per event.

Student radio station KJHK offers underwriting packages to registered student groups at a reduced rate. KJHK will also produce a public service announcement with general information about an organization. The PSA can include details such as the group name, charter/goals, meeting times, etc. Request a PSA by emailing your information to kjhkpr@ku.edu.
Student group special events or fund-raisers are not eligible for public service announcements

Campus TV is a closed circuit, on-campus communication system that uses flat-screen plasma monitors to broadcast important information to KU students, staff, faculty and visitors. There are six digital messaging monitors on campus – three in the Kansas Union, and one each in the KU Info Booth on Jayhawk Boulevard, the Art & Design Building, the Ambler Student Recreation Fitness Center and Watson Library.
Registered student groups are eligible to display their upcoming events and programs, after a copy of the University Events Committee approval has been given to the Union Programs Office. Weekly meeting announcements are not eligible. All publicity must be written in English. A foreign language may be used in the title as long as an English translation is included. There is a limit of 25 ads for student groups running at one time.

Any registered student organization is eligible to reserve a display case in the Kansas Union. Display case reservations may be made Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm at the Student Union Programs Box Office. The box office is located on the 4th level of the KU Kansas Union. Reservations are made on a first-come, first served basis. Display cases will be scheduled on a weekly basis from Monday through Sunday. There is a two (2) week limit per semester per organization, and only one (1) case may be scheduled at a time.
Displays must be installed between noon and 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Any group which has not installed their display by 4:30 p.m. on Monday will lose their right to use the case and must reschedule for a later date pending availability.

Banners may be hung from the ceiling on Jayhawk Walk. All banners must promote university-related events; priority is given to events held in the Union. Only registered campus organizations or university departments may use banners to sponsor events. Banners must be professionally made and approved by the Union. Grommets (with ½” holes) should be placed (at minimum) in the upper left and right corners of the banner.
Indoor banners on Jayhawk Walk are $10/day, minimum of $20; maximum size: 2’ high x 15’ wide. Printing may be on both sides. The time limit for display is one week. No paper banners will be allowed unless laminated.

The Kansas Union offers student organizations table space on Jayhawk Walk (level 4 of the Kansas Union) as a means of promotion. Information or solicitation table reservations are made on a first‑come, first‑serve basis. You must remain behind the table and display a sign identifying your organization.

Table tents are an opportunity to advertise your on-campus event or student organization. We welcome requests from student organizations, campus departments, and campus affiliates.
Table tents will be placed at retail locations: The Market at the Kansas Union; The Underground at Wescoe Hall; and The Crimson Café at the Burge Union and/or residential locations: Ekdahl (Mrs. E’s) Dining Commons, GSP Dining, The Studio at Hashinger Hall, and Oliver Dining.
