Student Union Activities (SUA)

SUA is one of the largest student organizations at KU hosting over 150 events a year. For 85 years, they have been programming events for the entire Jayhawk community. Their events range from concerts to game tournaments to trivia nights and more!

The Big Event at KU

The Big Event connects the KU campus with the Lawrence community during one large day of service by recruiting thousands of students, faculty and staff volunteers to work at hundreds of local job sites.

KJHK 90.7 FM

Broadcasting 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, KJHK 90.7 FM is the student-run radio station at the University of Kansas. The station has been the voice of independent radio in Lawrence since 1975.

Rotary Youth Leadership Awards

In its ongoing efforts to bring future Jayhawks to KU while learning valuable leadership skills, Union Programs works in partnership with Rotary International to present an annual summer Rotary Youth Leadership Awards. RYLA exists to provide Kansas high school students with a fun and educational week-long camp.

Rita Ravens Alexander Leadership Retreat is a 2-day, 1 overnight event that provides concentrated learning and professional development opportunities to students in a retreat-based environment.

Student Senate at KU serves as the primary advocate for students on campus where executive staff members and senators work together to allocate about $22 million in student fees.
