The Annual Ball

If you live around Lawrence, KS, you know that March means a lot more than St. Patrick's Day. It's tournament time and the KU men's basketball team has made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament an annual affair. In fact it has been a quarter of a century (1989) since KU did not appear in the tournament. This was the year where KU was placed on probation by the NCAA powers that be, the year after KU won the championship in 1988 under head coach Larry Brown.
