Family Weekend Scheduled for September 22-23, 2023

June 15, 2023 – LAWRENCE, KAN: KU Student Affairs is excited to announce Family Weekend will take place September 22-23, 2023. Events will lead up to the KU football game against Brigham Young University at the David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium.

To support a robust weekend of events, the Family Weekend Committee encourages departments and offices to welcome families to your buildings and spaces for an informal open house on Friday, September 22nd, from 2-4:30 p.m. This coordinated effort is intended to fulfill family interest in seeing where their student is taking classes and meeting KU faculty and staff. 

We encourage Student Affairs and programming units to host open houses if it fits their needs or purposes. We are also seeking units to table during the kickoff event at Jayhawk Ink, Kansas Union, level 2 from 12 pm - 4 pm. This programming request applies to all units. 

Units are asked to confirm participation in the celebration by completing this form  https://parents.ku.edu/family-weekend . Submissions will be added to the Family Weekend webpage as received, to be part of the print materials, submissions must be complete by September 1.
